Industrial Sorting Solutions has officially expanded its on-the-ground presence at Kenitra Atlantic Free Zone, deploying a new resident inspection team to serve the rapidly growing automotive supplier base in the Atlantic region. The expansion responds to direct demand from Tier 1 and Tier 2 equipementiers establishing operations near the Stellantis-PSA Kenitra plant.
The new Kenitra unit brings ISS to a total of 25 dedicated inspectors and quality engineers across the Atlantic zone. The team is fully equipped for aspect inspection, dimensional checks with calibrated GO/NO-GO gauges, functional electronics testing, and rework operations on metallic and plastic parts. Mobilization time for new client requests in the zone is now under 48 hours.
Beyond standard inspection services, the Kenitra team will also support project ramp-up activities: PPAP validation assistance, prelaunch quality walls, and 8D problem-solving facilitation. These services are critical during new program launches when defect rates are typically at their highest and corrective action discipline matters most.
This expansion is part of a broader plan to mirror Morocco's automotive growth corridor. ISS already operates from Tanger Free Zone, Tanger Automotive City, and Port Tanger Med. With Kenitra now fully staffed, our clients can count on rapid, local response wherever their supply chain operates.
